Invitation to charities as town shop keeps giving

A TOWN business is seeking a local good cause to become its charity partner for 2013.

The Original Factory Shop on Victoria Road has spent the past 12 months raising funds for the Anthony Mundell Memorial Fund and is now on the lookout for a new ally for its Make A Difference community campaign.

Any charitable organisation wishing to apply to receive support from the store must complete the form available on the shop’s Facebook page (Make A Difference tab) before Friday, January 11. Once the successful applicant is selected, the store will run a fundraising programme with a minimum target of £500 to be raised throughout the year.

Store Manager, Paul Thomas, said: “We’ve been raising funds for Anthony Mundell Memorial Fund this year and with the partnership due to end on 31st December, we’re now searching for a local charity to team up with in 2013.

“We’re dedicated to making a difference to our local community and are all really looking forward to next year’s campaign.”
