"Hello everyone. Especially the people who Miss The Auld Toon. I visited Hawick last year, only the second time in 18 years. Way to long! Although my choice is to live on the other side of the globe and life is good, my heart aches leaving family and friends and the beauty of Hawick among the Hills. I watched a video on You Tube today which tugged at the old heart strings. Well done the 3D, this brought tears to my eyes. What a lovely song and video clip.

"Belated happy to new year to all in Hawick. We will be home for the Common-Riding. Happy Birthday "Ma", 93 in March. Weather here is still warm. We have been here for nine months and are just loving it. Susan get me a pint of Guiness ready, Jackie is paying. Every morning we sit on one of our balconies having breakfast and never tire of the view, unrestricted to Kos and Kalimnos, Turgutries to Gumusluk. We really do appreciate and love it here.
