Hawick and Denholm by-election candidate Ian Turnbull, pictured, has launched a survey about the state of the roads in Hawick and is asking residents to contact him.
A press release issued earlier this week reads: “Mr Turnbull would like to hear what Hawick residents have to say about the roads they travel on every day, whether for shopping, going to work, or taking their children to school.
“Something needs to be done to improve the state of local roads, whether this means filling pot holes in, improving road sign visibility and road markings, or slowing traffic down.
Adding to this, Mr Turnbull said: “Early indications are showing that pot holes are the biggest ongoing problem for Hawick motorists and I would like to hear what people think. You can contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org, or on 07516 243 910.”
