A HOST of tasty treats are on the menu at this weekend’s Hawick Festival of Food.
The culinary extravaganza gets under way today (Friday) at the farmers’ market (10am-2pm), which fill feature a sausage sizzle by Lindsay Grieve, food tasting and a Victorian barrel organ.
There’s also home-made burgers at the Damascus Drum Cafe, while the Tower Inn is serving cream teas (2pm-4pm) and all-day meal specials. Tomorrow, the Pickled Orange has local game on the menu during the day and evening.
