Hawick Museum has reopened.
The museum has been closed over the winter as a team of staff and volunteers undertook a major review of the stored collection.
After a three-month period the collection is now back in storage – re-stored, reboxed and rediscovered.
Curator Shona Sinclair said: “This was an opportunity for all our staff and volunteers to focus on work behind the scenes. We catalogued over 500 objects and rediscovered some real gems in the collection that will enhance the work we do - for exhibitions, education and events.”
Admission to the museum is free.
