DEMAND to take part in next year’s Biggest Loser competition has been phenomenal – so much so that the deadline for applications has been brought forward to midnight on Monday.

Following last week’s launch in the Hawick News a mass of applications have been received.

And even more potential deserving cases are being urged to sign up fast.

Stuart Oliver, co-owner of Think Fitness who are running the competition in conjunction with the Hawick News, said: “This year we’ve upped our game by enrolling a proper nutritionist/dietician, as well as bringing back Tracey Gibson and Jan Pringle from last year’s competition to help mentor this year’s contestants through the challenge.

“We could have closed the book on applications last week, but there may be even more deserving cases out there who simply did not read last week’s paper. If this is you, I’d urge you to get applying before midnight on Monday as this is an experience not to be missed.”
