Cross-border invite for Film and Video Group

FILM and Video Group members attended an invitation from Carlisle Camcorder Club last week to present a programme of films.

Club president Jean Tait introduced the following running order of the films – “The Collector’s Joy”, displaying fine artwork and delicate china tableware; “I Am Sailing”, a pleasure cruise on Lake Windermere; “Autumn In Colour”, a topical theme; “Vertish Hill Sports 2000”, a record of the millennium event; “Great Orme Copper Mines”, in North Wales and at one time employed child labour; “The Flowers and Fruits of Selkirk Hill” and “Wild Scotland”.

The meeting on October 29 will be a selection of films from the Scottish Association of Moviemakers.
