Police are keen to hear from anyone who can help trace prescription medication reported missing.

It is believed quantities of morphine and similar drugs were left outside a home in Union Street between 11am and 2pm on Wednesday, July 16.

Anyone who comes into possession of this medication is asked to hand it in to the police station.

A police spokesperson said: “We would also urge the public not to consume the drugs if found, as they could have serious implications on a person’s health if taken by anyone other than the prescribed user.”
