Voters in some areas of the Borders are being reminded of changes to polling places for the EU Referendum on Thursday, June 23, as well as future elections.

In Hawick, instead of the Burnfoot Community Centre, voters are instructed to go to Burnfoot Community Hub.

People who previously voted at Langlee Primary School will now be voting at St John’s Church Hall.

Glendinning Primary School electors will now vote at Galashiels Fifth Ward Community Centre.

Details of which polling station you should attend are given on your poll cards.

People can vote from 7am until 10pm on Thursday, June 23.

Scottish Borders Council is informing anyone who hasn’t yet registered to vote they have until midnight on Tuesday, June 7 to do so.

Register to vote online or call the local Electoral Registration Office on 01835 825100.
