HAWICK Callants Club will be commemorating those who died on the Gallipoli Peninsula at two ceremonies next Friday (July 12).

Club president Dr Charlie Oliver will lay a wreath at the Horse at 7pm, while vice-president Derick Tait will recite a verse from ‘For the Fallen.’

At 7.20pm, the company will reassemble at the museum and, led by piper Colin Turnbull and bugler Colin Crozier, will march to the war memorial where Dr Oliver will lay a wreath on behalf on the Gallipoli Comrades’ Association. The public are welcome at both venues.
