AILSA Nairn and Erin Scott have been crowned high school second year Masterchef champions.

Their two-course meal of Thai pork meatballs served with a choice of three dipping sauces and stir fry vegetables and double raspberry dessert tickled the tastebuds of the judges and will now be made and sold in the school canteen for everyone to try. They also received a cookery book kindly donated by Scottish Borders Council’s catering department. Neve Douglas and Olivia Torbet finished runners-up.
