A man appeared in private in a rare Saturday sitting at Jedburgh Sheriff Court to cover custodies over the New year period.
Stuart Nimmo faced four drugs-related charges including being concerned in the supply of heroin at his home in Croft Road on Hogmanay.

The 28-year-old made no plea or declaration and the case was continued for further examination.

He was released on bail.
