A 38-year-old man has appeared in court on a firearms charge.
Jason Hook, 38, was accused of possessing an air weapon in Beaconsfield Terrace and causing a breach of the peace.

He denied both offences – which were alleged to have been committed on Tuesday – when he appeared at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.

Hook was released on bail and will stand stand trial on April 3.
