AN INVESTIGATION is under way following the collapse of two sections of embankment adjacent to the A7 at Linhope, between Mosspaul and Teviothead.
The recent severe weather is thought to have caused the landslide, and motorists are asked to be patient following the installation of temporary traffic lights in the area.

A spokesperson said: "We will endeavour to resolve the situation as quickly as possible."
