Jail for man with offensive weapon

A 27-year-old man was jailed for six months after committing a breach of the peace on the High Street, where he was also found with a screwdriver.
At Jedburgh Sheriff Court last Thursday, Michael Maxwell, 27, of Pilton View, Edinburgh, appeared on indictment and admitted disorderly conduct and having an offensive weapon on June 24 last year.
