HAVING warned offenders that anyone breaching court orders would be jailed in the New Year, Sheriff Kevin Drummond fulfilled his promise, sentencing Christopher Davidson to two months' imprisonment.
Twenty-one-year-old Davidson, of Lovel Court, admitted three breaches of community service.

Sheriff Drummond told Davidson: "Every effort is made to try not to put young men like you into custody, but when you fail to carry out your community service, the system breaks down, and you are choosing custody."
