ANIMAL rights protestors are set to converge on the town tomorrow to demonstrate against the Zippo's Circus.
Ten activists from the Edinburgh-based animal welfare group Bunny Huggers will be making the trip down from the capital to the event at the Haugh ahead of the afternoon performance, which starts at 3pm.

It is understood there will be people in costumes as well as leafleting, banners and placards.

It will be the first time Zippo's has visited the town and it comes at the end of its third annual Scottish tour.

Ten activists from Edinburgh comin' doon? I hope they act like proper visitors and spend some money in the town. (Some hope) *And* are on their best behaviour!

Ten? That would have been laughable in view of the support the activists claim to have for their allegations against this circus and others. In fact, there were three. From the whole of Scotland! 'Nuff said?
