JAMIE Batten has described the amount of dog dirt in parts of Burnfoot as "bloody awful".
Mr Batten was referring, in particular, to the path between the shops along to McLagan Drive.

At Tuesday night's Burnfoot Community Council meeting, he said: "Dog mess is an old chestnut of mine and something I've been banging on about since 1988. If anyone dares to walk from the shops on the pathway down from McLagan Drive, every single yard there's dog mess.

"It's bloody awful.

"The idea was that there would be more people policing this problem, with community wardens and on-the-spot fines and the Yuk! campaign, I'm not sure if they are working."
