A 24-YEAR-OLD man was arrested in Commercial Road in the early hours of Sunday and charged with assaulting a police officer.
The male, who also faces a breach of the peace rap, will appear in court at a later date.
MEANWHILE, a 38-YEAR-OLD man was arrested in Baker Street in the early hours of Sunday after committing a breach of the peace.
He was later issued with a fixed penalty ticket and released.
