THE Hawick News can reveal that an Argos store is expected to open in Hawick before the end of next year.
Argos has confirmed Hawick move
A spokesperson for the Home Retail group was unable to provide any official details owing to discussions still ongoing with developers, but he was able to confirm that Argos is planning to open in the town.
"Store-opening schedules can be a drawn out process and we are anticipating there will be a store in Hawick before the end of next year," said the spokesperson
The Hawick News understands there has been no legal commitment to a location as of yet.
