School pipers set for capital contest

PUPILS from the high school are set to take a bow at the first Scottish Schools Pipe Band Championships.

The inaugral competition is to be held at Broughton High School, Edinburgh, on Sunday, March 10 – and the Teri youngsters will be competing in the debut category.

Mike Russell MSP, the cabinet secretary for education and lifelong learning, will present the prizes.
