A TEAM of ex-servicemen who ran the Edinburgh Half Marathon earlier this year have presented a cheque for £2,500.56 to Poppy Scotland.

Former Scots Guards Eck Barclay and David Richardson were joined by KOSB veterans Wullie Cooper and Billy Clamp and Billy Little (former Navy) and Melissa Clamp as they tackled the 13.1-mile course.

Eck said: “We’re pleased to have been able to have played a small part in raising funds for a very worthy cause and we’d like to thank everyone who supported the team.”

It is hoped Teries will continue to support the Poppy Appeal in the build-up to Remembrance Sunday.
