Robin keeps his eye in at museum

A NEW exhibition of vivid and varied photographs, entitled A Teri’s Eye, has opened at the musuem.

The photographs are by Hawick amateur photographer Robin Chapman, who now lives in Fife, and reflect his interest not only in the countryside but also in the art of photography, composition and post-process techniques – all of which are displayed to stunning effect.

A museum spokesperson said: “There are some incredible photographs of both familiar and unfamiliar places in Scotland – mainly of landscapes and townscapes – and mostly in glorious colour.

“However, there is variety, too, from shots of Hawick group Scocha live to Highland, Lothian and Borders scenes, with Edinburgh featuring strongly.

This selling show will be supplemented by sales of prints and cards from the exhibition.

For more information contact the museum on 373457.
