GALLIC charm from the Two Rivers Theatre Company is proving a hoot for audiences at the town hall this week.

Its production of the hilarious iconic comedy ‘Allo Allo’ is going down a storm.

Famed for the line: “Listen very carefully – I shall say this only once,” the public are doing just that and laughing plenty as well.

Shelagh Duncan, who plays the role of Rene, said: “Everyone’s really enjoying it.”

Graham Ford, in particular, is proving an able depute for Jim Arbon, who had to withdraw last Sunday through illness. The show is on for one more night in Hawick, tonight, before it’s taken to the Buccleuch Centre in Langholm tomorrow. Doors open at 7pm and tickets can be purchased on the door.
