Kids enjoy festive fun at library

THE town library’s Christmas activity eased local children into the festive spirit recently.

The annual event invited kids of primary school-age to take part in craft and creative activities, with sign-up at the library free of charge. This year’s instalment was attended by 19 kids and eight parents, who teamed up with library staff to produce a number of decorations, including origami stars, ‘stained glass’ cardboard baubles, a Santa and angels, and a selection of Christmas cards. Each child received a chocolate Santa as a reward for their hard work.
