Denholm ready to rock

FIVE live band are ready to rock at this year’s F in the Garden at the Fox and Hounds, Denholm, on Saturday.

It’s the 12th staging of the event, which starts at 1.30pm, and getting the music under way are The Stubby Cans, from Jedburgh, who are making their debut on the Borders music scene.

Dark Horse, from Hawick, will be playing their first anniversary gig, while Fatlips, from Galashiels, will be appearing in the village for the first time with a variety of rock covers.

Pyre, from Hawick, are back for a third time, after which headliners Shtumm will play a rock set which will include two medleys – one Led Zeppelin and the other Queen.

There will be three bars and a BBQ in the afternoon.And fans are reminded that the event will take place no matter the weather because the garden will be covered.
