YOUNGSTERS from Trinity nursery through to primary two enjoyed some bedtime reading recently.
They joined teachers all in their pyjamas with their teddies and enjoyed a glass of milk and cookies as part of the launch of the Heart of Hawick book awards.
This is the first year that picture books have been included in the awards and the five books in that category were on show for everyone to see.
Teacher John Reilly said: "The children now take the books home and read them with their mum and dad and decide which one they like the best."
