Newcastleton
Head teacher Sandra Inglis welcomed parents and friends to the primary school for the end-of-the-year prize-giving ceremony last Wednesday, when the youngsters showed off their talents with music and song. The head teacher announced the awards and the presentations were made by Margaret Elliott of Redheugh. Agnes Hall prize for top girl in P7 – Emma McNeil; William Hall prize for top P7 boy – Daniel Nixon. After the presentations had been made, the P7 pupils sang their leaving song.
