I am sure I speak for many exiled Teries who relish a glimpse of what is going on in the town via Hamish Smith's webcam.
On Auld Year's Night it was fantastic to be able to see Hawick folk trudging along the High Street both to and from the town hall clock and in and out of places of entertainment.
I have given the web address to many friends who are not from Hawick and they are amazed that such a small town could have such a great facility. So well done to Hamish and all the best for 2010 to all your readers.
