Could I pass on my heartfelt thanks to the kind and honest young man who returned my daughter's mobile phone on Sunday morning.
The mobile phone had dropped onto a pile of snow late on Saturday evening. And this gentleman not only telephoned me to say he had found it, but arranged to hand it over to me on Sunday morning. He had to walk several miles in the snow to do this and would take no reward for doing so.
I, too, have lost a mobile phone in the past and the inconvenience goes way beyond buying a new phone. To see such honesty, and a willingness to help others for no self-gain, just renewed my faith in human society.
