I THINK it has been a disgrace the state of our roads over the recent and current snow conditions.
For being our main road out, the A7 is horrendous. And as for running out of salt so soon into the winter, it's a joke.

NAME AND ADDRESS WITHHELD

WHILE I can't fault the council workers for the effort they've put in this week in what has been incredibly difficult conditions, I find it utterly unbelievable that it took until Tuesday before Scottish Borders Council took any action on the town's side roads.

I travelled to Galashiels on New Year's Day and the roads there were pretty much all gritted. There's something wrong there!
