I HAVE just received a newspaper clipping from my sister-in-law (Margaret MacPherson) of Shiela Deans' 16th birthday party which was printed in the Hawick News recently.
I attended this party and am located in the farthest right of the front row in the photograph. It made me so nostalgic I nearly wept.

I now live in Australia and if any of my childhood friends would like to contact me, I would be delighted to hear from them at joanjeffrey1@bigpond.com
