IT'S nice to know local MSP John Lamont is going to save the High Street, but it seems to me he has fallen at the first fence by having his leaflet printed in Glasgow.
What a missed opportunity to place the order with a local business.

It must be a lovely drive from Coldstream to the office in Hawick, made even better in the knowledge that the taxpayer is paying you £29.58 per day for the privilege. How many of us are paid for the journey to work?
