As the owner of three dogs, I feel I must reply to last week's letter from Norman leadbetter regarding dog mess at the Moor.
He is spot on, of course nobody wants dog dirt on their shoes or clothes, but neither does anyone want horse muck on their feet or clothes, and there's plenty of it round the streets and pavements, and even the pitches at the park.

I'm aware horses are vegetarian so somehow that keeps them out of trouble regarding the law, but it is still a stinking mess after the horses have been by, and dog owners don't have the luxury of a street cleaner coming along behind them.
