I am writing to you in the hope that your readers can help me with the Macari family tree.
I have come to a halt at my grandfather Magno Macari, who had two sisters in the Roxburghshire area.
One was unmarried and called either Lena or Adelena Macari, while the other sister was Katarina Macari, who married a Luigi Forte.
One of their daughters, Anna Forte, married an Ernesto Taddei. Auntie Lena lived with them in Hawick but I have no idea where or when.
Any help in my quest would be greatly appreciated.
