I read with interest chairman Kevin Ferguson's comments regarding the lack of support for the community council.
I completed an application form and returned it three weeks before the closing date of May 1. If the criteria to become a community councillor is so strict that a volunteer can be dismissed purely on his or her name and address, then I am not surprised it is so difficult to get new volunters.
