LOCAL rock band Shtumm are celebrating 10 years as one of the region's outstanding live acts with an eagerly-anticipated anniversary gig in Stampers on Saturday, July 19.
Comprising drummer Kevin Scott, guitarist Mike Harkin, lead vocalist Dave Thomas, bassist Stewart Mabon and Keith Mabon on keyboards and guitar, the band are set to hit the high notes from 8.15pm in the front bar and entry is free.

The guys, who are currently on their summer tour and headlined last week's Festival Day at Jedburgh, are also set to top the bill at the the hugely popular 'F' in the Garden rock festival at the Fox and Hounds in Denholm. Entry to this event, which attracts hundreds of music fans to the village venue, is free and the show gets under way at 1pm.
