ST MARGARET'S primary school pupil Rachel MacPherson's Christmas card design is being sent out the length and breadth of the country.
The youngster, pictured, was runner-up in Hawick MSP John Lamont's design a Christmas card competition.
And although narrowly missing out on the main prize, Rachel's artistic snowman picture is one of only four smaller designs on the back of the politician's card. And as a reward for her top talent she won a sports kit for her school courtesy of Sainsbury's.
Mr Lamont said: "Although it was a difficult decision to pick the winners, I was really impressed with Rachel's entry and am pleased it will be appearing on my Christmas card this year."
