Hundreds enjoy spin on the 'ice'

TERIES were skating on thin ice at the weekend – and they loved every minute of it!
The artificial ice rink at the Civic Space proved a huge hit with both adults and youngsters as an estimated 900 people got their skates on.

Derick Tait, chairman of Future Hawick, which organised the festive fun, said: "It was absolutely superb and it went better than we could ever have expected. The kids seemed to really enjoy it judging by the number of smiling faces."
