CORNET Ben Graham and a large Hawick contingent saddled up to support Jethart Callant Gary Pringle last Friday.
The Cornet, his Lass Megan Gracie, Right and Left-Hand Lasses Lesley-Anne Renwick, and Nicole Baxter and Acting-Father Kevin Crowford were among the 233 riders, including a host of Teri supporters, who took part in Jedburgh's Festival day.

In dry
weather, the cavalcade successfully carried out the ride from the town to Ferniehirst Castle, Lintalee and the Capon Tree.

Cornet Graham told us: "Friday was great. The ride in the morning was good, and although we didn't get to cross the river it was great that the weather stayed dry for us. They keep visiting principles up the front which is good because we witnessed the ceremonial events with the Flag and Callant Gary's proclamation at the ramparts. It's also more sociable when we're all together."

Following the official lunch at which Cornet Graham says there were some excellent speeches, a large Teri contingent later attended the Ball, which was another highlight for the Cornet.
