Elsie on the mend after car accident

I WOULD like to thank other motorists and passers-by for their help and comfort after my wife Elsie was knocked down by a car in Dovemount Place on November 26.

Thanks also to the paramedic and the police who gave her sympathy and care in a difficult situation, and to the accident and emergency staff at Borders General Hospital for their immediate care and attention.

Elsie is now out of hospital and recovering at home.
