Dog fouling reports will be dealt with

LATELY there has been a lot of negative press about dog wardens, but recently I had reason to get in touch with them about dog fouling in a common drying area, and after obtaining proof of the offending owner, the dog wardens immediately issued a fixed penalty notice.

The wardens can’t be everywhere all the time, and they need the public’s help in reporting dog fouling and naming names. Without this they cannot do their job.

I cannot praise them enough as they have telephoned me, followed up my complaint, and made sure that the person is now doing what they should have done in the first place, and picked up after their pet.

So, thanks again to the dog wardens; and to the public I would say: Report dog fouling because it will be dealt with.
